Old Chester Meetinghouse Sofa Table

This sofa table was made for a family in Chester, CT and the wood was reclaimed from the original floorboards from the Chester Meetinghouse.  The natural rot and holes in the wood were preserved with epoxy and some of the hand-forged nails that once held the boards in place were entombed in one of the large voids in the wood.  

Other Furniture

This side table was made from reclaimed Douglas Fir wood flooring that was taken from the original Westerly Town Hall building that is behind Pizza Place.  This 100 year-old wood has great grain and looks beautiful with the carefully placed nail holes.
